Ring Rolling Machines
Invention of cold ring rolling in the 80s was born from needed savings in energy and material and is connected closely to company Profiroll. The first precision Cold Ring Rolling Machine was designed in cooperation with TU Dresden and Kombinat Wälzlager und Normteile Karl-Marx-Stadt. A new efficient process was introduced into industry by Profiroll. Coldforming widening and simultaneously forming of outer and inner profile was a good alternative to expensive machining operations. Additionally the outstanding surface quality and even new workpiece characteristics convinced users all over the world.
