44 students of the 3rd and 5th semester of the Technical University Dresden had the opportunity to look behind the scenes at Profiroll during their excursion in faculty Manufacturing Technology.
Once in a year the students can see the production and development centre in Bad Duben.
In addition to professional lectures held by our Profiroll process engineers, the students attended in the following practical lessons:

2-Slide Rolling Machine 2-PR 40 CNC/AC – throughfeed rolling of ballscrews
Spline Rolling Machine Rollex L HP – Rolling of 4 splines on a camshaft
In the practical lessons not only machines have been presented but also special requirements of cold forming processes have been examined: check of material and input parameters as well as qualitative evaluation of the formed products.
