The SAQ 5.0 rating from Supplier Assurance focuses on improving sustainability performance in the supply chain by evaluating policies and practices in the individual areas of business ethics, CSR management, environmental protection, occupational health and safety, human rights and working conditions, responsible supply chain management and responsible sourcing of raw materials.
Profiroll's sustainability was also assessed as part of the SAQ 5.0 rating. The result for the Bad Düben site was increased to 73% and is above the mechanical engineering industry average of 60%. Improving its own sustainability remains Profiroll's self-proclaimed goal.
